Charles Darwin was born and educated in Shrewsbury and all around you will find reminders of his association with the town. The River Severn forms a loop around the town centre offering gentle riverside walks or you can enjoy a trip on the new pleasure boat Sabrina.Next to the river you can relax in the beautiful Quarry Park., location for the annual Shrewsbury Flower Show.
