Accommodation & Facilities The hotel features approx 170 double rooms which are equipped with extensible beds and all bathrooms have a tub. Family rooms are large, furnished with a bed, a dressing table with a mirror, a sofa and a table. There is also a small kitchen box, equipped with a dining table and a refrigerator. The bathroom is big, with a tub. Family rooms are suitable for families with one or two children, or three adults. The apartments consist of two separate rooms. All of the rooms are stylised with elegance and every comfort. Lion Bansco hotel features a restaurant with a wet bar and a buffet, where guests can enjoy all kinds of local and European cuisine. An interesting surprise awaits guests at the traditional Bulgarian Mehana with 110 seats. The night bar offers guests a wide range of entertainment in a fun casual atmosphere so as to have a taste of the local night life! At guest disposal there is an indoor swimming pool, billiard, sauna and steam bath with shock pool, fitness centre, Jacuzzi, solarium. Also, there is a conference hall with 200 seats, ideal for meetings and social events and a complimentary shuttle service to the lift. There is an outdoor parking and an indoor one with 20 parking spaces (an overnight extra fee applies for the parking). Ski Facts The Bansko ski area offers its guests a unique 16-kilometer uninterrupted ski run, starting from Todorka Peak at the highest point, all the way to base station of the Gondola lift. The last 7 km of the slope are floodlit, and the entire run is equipped with artificial snow machines to ensure a great skiing experience even in warmer conditions. Other than this, the ski area can hold its own with the vast majority of western European resorts, with excellent lift infrastructure and a wide variety of runs from excellent beginner slopes to challenging black runs and some great off-piste routes. Skiers and snowboarders are welcome to join us every Saturday evening in our descent on the lighted ski run from Banderishka Polyana area all the way to the outskirts of town long after sunset; night skiing is also available during week-days upon prior arrangement.
