Though not centrally located, this hotel benefits from a very nice setting and is highly recommended particularly for groups visiting Hamburg. 0807 hm.
The hotel is a modern red brick building.
The rooms are large and comfortable, if unimaginatively furnished in modern style. Both they and the bathrooms are in very good condition.
Opposite the bar is the breakfast room and restaurant. It is furnished with light wooden furniture and decorated in pastel colours.
The lobby is large and light, due to the full length windows. It has a polished granite tiled floor. The reception desk is round and covered in wood and mirrors. To the left of the entrance is the bar. The walls are panelled with dark wood. The English-style chairs and bar stools are covered with autumn coloured patterned fabric.
The Ramada hotel is located in the Hamburg suburb of Bergedorf, within walking distance of the train station, from which there is a regular service into the town centre. The centre is about 20 minutes by car.
