Within a few minutes walk lies Paignton Harbour with its fishing and boat trips, hire boats, etc; or you can visit the pier with all the traditional amusement facilities. Paignton Cricket and Rugby Club is just across the road and has two excellent bowling greens. In the evenings, there are discos, bars with live entertainment or the new multiplex cinema.
