With its wooden façades and railings, the Pierre & Vacances Les Terrasses dAzur residence in Isola 200 is in perfect keeping with the resorts natural environment of pines and larches. It overlooks the resort and is close to the ski runs and shops. The apartments are very comfortable and have a panoramic view over the skiing area and the Chastillon valley.

Accommodation & Facilities
All the 133 apartments are equipped with a kitchenette with four ceramic hobs, refrigerator, microwave-grill oven, dishwasher, coffee-maker, bathroom, separate toilet, telephone, television, vacuum cleaner and a balcony. All beds are fitted with duvets, bed linen & towels included. The hotel offers to its guests free of charge, ski lockers, well-being services and bakery order service. Guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally. Also at an extra charge the hotel offers, apartment preparation service, a baby kit, cleaning kit, bathroom linen and additional cleaning. The guests should note that pets are admitted at an extra charge.
There is also aa kids club, we would like to remind the parents that a health record, including up-to-date vaccinations (at least BCG/triple+ Polio) must be presented in child care centers, clubs and mini-clubs.

Apart from skiing there are also other winter activities available as, automobile ice racing, snow scooter, kart cross, night skiing (during the school holidays), snake slide (articulated group toboggan), heliskiing, snowshoe hikes, climbing skin hikes. There is also the Aquavallee Fitness Centre with sauna, hammam and weight training at Isola Village 17km away.
Location
Isola 2000, the first resort in the Southern Alps, boasts an outstanding location near Italy and the Mediterranean. Located just outside Mercantour Park, Isola 2000 welcomes you to an exceptional setting throughout the season. The guests can holiday in the mountains between snow and sun at 2,000 m above sea level and less than 100 km from the Mediterranean.
Ski Facts
Isola 2000 is the first ski area in the Southern Alps to cover more than 2,000 hectares. The area is nestled in a circle formed by 15 summits, which tower between 2,450 and 2,974m.

The skiing domain at Isola comprises 47 slopes in total, a generous choice of chair lifts and ski tows, as well as a cable car and a funicular railway, ensure that skiers are kept on the move. Cross-country skiing through the larches at an altitude of 2,000m is very popular. Other activities include: riding snow scooters, go-karting on ice, heli-skiing and the latest trend ? ski-jöring (a combination of horseback riding and skiing!).

With 120kms of pistes, abundant doorstep beginners? slopes, 16 red runs and 5 black runs, skiers of all abilities are well catered for. In fact, the resort has some of the best and longest beginners? runs around, all at resort level, with perfect wide-open slopes. After having gained rapid confidence, you then have a mouth-watering choice of intermediate and advanced slopes on both sides of the valley, with some great wooded, off-piste runs for intermediates and advanced skiers especially after fresh snow (Check avalanche warnings before venturing off-piste).

Note that Isola 2000 is not linked to other Mercantour resorts, but is within driving distance of Auron, Valberg and SuperSauze.

The season begins in late November and runs until May.
