It has a spectacular view of the Fare waterfall. Ski lifts are 400 m away and can be reached by an escalator or a free shuttle. The residence is surrounded by cheerful and protected nature, in the heart of the Grandes Rousses ski area. It is an authentic residence near the resort centre. How to get there Closest airports TRN/GNB/CMF. The guests may get to Vojany from Chambery Aix Les Bains airport (CMF), Grenoble/Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB) and Turin Airpot (TRN). Please note that check in and check out day for this property is only Saturday. Your stay should be either for 7 or 14 nights. Accommodation & Facilities All apartments are equipped with a kitchenette with two electric hotplates, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, bathroom, television (at a charge) and a balcony. Guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally and that bed and bathroom linen are provided at an extra charge. The Residence provides free of charge ski lockers and a shuttle to the slopes. Also at an extra charge the residence provides its guests with, launderette, cleaning, cleaning kit, television and a baby kit. Animals are accepted also at an extra charge. There is also kid?s club however the Residence would like to inform the parents that a health record, including up-to-date vaccinations (at least BCG/triple+ Polio) must be presented in child care centers, clubs and mini-clubs. For the guests that would like additional leisure activities apart from skiing, there are available, an ice rink, library, activity room with board games, table tennis, also a leisure centre with: swimming pool (slide, paddling pool) fitness centre (cardio-training, weight training) sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath. The guests can also visit the ice cave 30 m beneath the glacier illustrating the trades mountain-dwellers plied many years ago, but also join the La Croisiere Blanche excursion: walk on the Dome de la Lauze (3,568 m), Europe?s biggest glacier, panoramic view of the Pic Blanc, 3300m at the highest point (3*in the Michelin Guide) Location The Residence is located in a altitude of 1250 m opposite the beautiful Grandes Rousses Massif, Vaujany has all the charm and cachet of an authentic mountain village. Combining tradition and modernity, Vaujany offers state-of-the-art facilities for enjoying grandiose landscapes in a cheerful, well-preserved natural setting. Ski Facts The Southern Alps covers a huge area, stretching from the Mercantour in the Alpes Maritimes to the Bauges in Isère. It is difficult to summarise the skiing in this vast area, which itself is divided into different ski regions. However one of the main differences between skiing in the Northern Alps and the Southern Alps is sunshine! There are some epic runs, like the Sarenne in Alpe d?Huez, which is the longest run in Europe at over 17kms (Starts black and finishes green). Also the chance to ski the ?68 Olympic downhill runs at Chamrousse, or follow in the ski steps of Luc Alphand in Serre Chevalier.
