Built in a typical Savoy architecture, the Pierre & Vacances Chalets du Morel residences consists of small hamlets scattered around the resort. The residences offer high comfort apartments within 200m of the ski lifts and are situated next to the shops, services and entertainment provided in the resort centre.

Closest airports: CMF/GNB/GVA/LYS. Valmorel is located near Chambery/Aix-les-bains airport (CMF) 90km away, Grenoble/ Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB), Geneve Cointrin airport (GVA) 125km away and Lyon Saint Exupery airport (LYS) 180km away.

Accommodation& Facilities
All apartments are equipped with open-plan kitchen with two or four electric rings, refrigerator, mini-oven, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker, bathroom, separate toilet, television, balcony or terrace (for apartments on the ground floor). All beds are fitted with duvets, bed linen and towels supplied. The also residence provides ski lockers in every building and at a charge, hamper delivery service and apartment preparation service. The guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally. Also a refundable deposit paid locally and returned after departure is required. For the residence?s younger guests there is a kids club, however the parents should note that a health record, including up-to-date vaccinations (at least BCG/triple+ Polio) must be presented in child care centers, clubs and mini-clubs.

Apart from skiing there are plenty of winter activities the guests may join as paragliding, snake-slide, air board, ski hikes, ice climbing, Nordic ski routes, horse-drawn sleighs, snowshoeing, snowbike, quad, heli-skiing, ULM. The guests may also pay a visit to the Kanata Igloo Village, follow the evening walks with donkeys carrying saddle packs on snowy trails, cinema, also pay a visit to Valmoforme Centre with saunas, hammam, massages, fitness, etc. finally there is the Acro Jungle trampoline and of course tobogganing.
Location
In addition to the 160km of ski runs in an altitude of 1400m, the Valmorel resort offers numerous activities, such as snowshoe walking, cross-country skiing or even spending the night in an igloo. Children are well catered for thanks to the numerous clubs, while those seeking a spa and health treatment can let their hair down at the Valmoforme centre, including sauna, hammam, massages, etc.

The Grand Domaine - 150 km of pistes - is made up of Valmorel, Doucy Combelouviere and Saint François Longchamp, equipped with 49 ski lifts, 291 snow canons and a snowzone area with a half-pipe and a boarder-cross.

The Madeleine chairlift, a new easy access 6-seater chairlift. This ski sector, with its good ski cover, will become more dynamic and the link with the St François-Longchamp ski area will be improved.
J Fun circuits, fun pistes have been created throughout the ski area. A boarder cross has been created on the Beaudin sector, as well as a themed circuit based on environmental protection on the beginners zone of the Bois de la Croix.
