The 3 Valleys region encompasses the skiing in the resorts of Brides les Bains, Courchevel, La Tania, Meribel, Mottaret, St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens and Orelle, and the 3 Valleys lift pass covers lifts in all resorts, there are also 1 valley passes which cover individual resorts and the valley in which they are. Whether you enjoy skiing or snowboarding, the 3 Valleys ski domain offers more than 600 km of snow-packed runs, including many snow-parks and half-pipes for adrenaline fans.
You can also roam the domain at your leisure, on foot, hiking along the marked trails, or using the pedestrian ski lift passes.
Many trails have been created specially for you to enjoy the increasingly popular sport of snowshoeing and to discover the valleys from a new perspective: flora, wildlife, monuments, and superb open spaces.

There are also many cross-country skiing tracks that are prepared and maintained each day. These will lead you through breathtaking scenery.

Resort Information
At 2300m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe and forms part of the Three Valleys (the largest linked skiing area in the world). It is purpose-built, in the midst of barren landscape. The modern architecture sprawls over a large area. Accommodation in Val Thorens is of good quality. An indoor complex in the centre houses many of the shops and après ski activities.

Despite being an unattractive resort lacking in alpine charm Val Thorens is not completely lacking in appeal.
