How to Get There
Closest airports: CMF/GNB/GVA. Aravis is 74km from Chambery/Aix-les-bains airport (CMF), 126km from Grenoble/ Saint Geoirs Airport (GNB) and 50km from Geneve Cointrin airport (GVA).

By car: Highway A41 from Chambery or Grenoble till Annecy Nord and follow direction Thones ? Stations des Aravis. Or you can chose: Highway A40 from Lyon ? Geneve till Bonneville and follow direction Thones ? Stations des Aravis. In le Grand Bornand, take on the left direction le Chinaillon ? Col de la Colombiere. Drive up around 7 km till le Chinaillon. The residence is on your left side in front of la Maison du Tourisme. To go to the reception by car : continue straight away and take the first road on your left direction Samance ? Lac de Lessy. The residence entrance is on your left.

Please note that check in and check out day for this property is only Saturday. Your stay should be either for 7 or 14 nights.
Accommodation & Facilities
The Residence features 130 apartments in 9 chalets. All the apartments are fully equipped with a kitchen, with four burner ceramic hob, a multi function oven, a hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric coffee makes and a toaster. There is also a bathroom with bathtub or shower, a towel drying radiator, a TV, a direct telephone and a balcony. The guests are at 400m from the slopes and there are shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally and that bed and bathroom linen are provided. Also a refundable deposit paid locally and returned after departure is required.

All of our holiday residences contain Spa and Beauty areas for the pleasure of everyone. Whether a sports person or a non-skier, you can take advantage of your stay to eliminate lifes stresses. When it is time to relax, choose quiet and serene moments amongst the many options that are available for you: sauna, steam room, spa bath and even, if your heart tells you, a bit of exercise in the cardio-training room.

You can also take advantage of these Spa and Beauty Centers to treat yourself to local or exotic beauty and relaxation treatments from the large choice available; Peelings, body wraps with coffee, grapes or chocolate, traditional or hot rock massages, body of facial care... nothing is too good for your well-being. Underground parking is available at a charge (payable locally and per vehicle).

Plenty of snow, a preserved natural environment, a frosty light - 5 linked mountain ranges (Balme - 2600 m / Aiguille - 2400 m / Etale - 2400 m / Merdassier - 1650 m / Beauregard - 1640 m). From an altitude of 1100-2600 metres, in the heart of beautiful pine trees, some unique spots remain hidden away: totally untouched snowy terrain...And each morning you can rediscover the pleasure of skiing on perfectly groomed pistes!
Around Mont Lachat you will find 90 kilometres of downhill ski runs, serviced by 31 ski lifts.This fully linked ski area is spread out between 1000 and 2100 metres of altitude, starting from Grand-Bornand Village or Grand-Bornand Chinaillon.
Fantastic skiing in wonderful scenery between forests of epicea firs and small mountain granaries, offering ski-lovers both the Joyere sector, ideal for beginners, the open spaces of Maroly and the more difficult descents of the Lachat.
Thanks to the nearness of the Aravis range, which catches passing cloud formations, snowfalls are particularly abundant in this region, while the North/South orientation of the ski area also provides high sunshine hours. It?s
