Le Meridien Penina Golf & Resort is unique in the Algarve, where guests can step out of the hotel and start to play golf on its three courses. Accommodation
Rooms have views over the resort course, the swimming pool or the Monchique Mountains and they benefit from air conditioning, satellite television, a mini-bar, safe and hairdryer. Bedrooms are not adapted to wheelchair-bound persons although all the hotel doors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. There are ramps to the hotel entrance and around the hotel and grounds. In the public areas there are also toilets adapted for the disabled.

Restaurants & Bars available at Hotel: Club Sir Henry Cotton, Restaurant Sagres, Restaurant Le Grill, Restaurant L?Arlecchino (seasonal), Beach Restaurant ?Dunas? (summer season), Bar Monchique. A choice of five restaurants serving Portuguese, Italian and International cuisine, and three bars offer a choice of refreshments, snacks and cocktails. Children?s menus, barbecues, theme evenings and formal dinners are all available. Clients wishing to take HB in the Le Grill Restaurant will be given a specified credit amount per adult against an A La Carte meal, any amount over the credit is charged directly to client.

Le Meridien Penina Golf & Resort offers a wide range of sporting and leisure facilities that includes three golf courses, an 18-hole Championship Course, a 9-hole Academy Course and a 9-hole Resort Course. There is a Golf Academy for golfers of all abilities, and Penina offers a five-day golf instruction programme (contact the hotel for details). These clinics are conducted as a group, with a maximum of pupils to one professional, and must be booked with at least seven days notice. The resort also offers a driving range, practice holes and putting greens. Further sporting facilities include six floodlit tennis courts, five of which are hard-surface courts, and one Astro Turf court. Fees for tennis courts and lessons at the Tennis Academy are available at the hotels resort reception. An equipped fitness room is also free of charge for guests and a full-size snooker table is available free of charge for guests over 18 years of age. Mountain bikes are available all year round for rides within the resort at a special cost. At the Archery Academy, the Archery instructor is available to give lessons to guests upon request. Water sports are available from June to September, and the Beach Club offers pedal boats, waterskiing, sun shades, towel service and a restaurant. There is also a shuttle service from the hotel to the Alvor beach for Meridien guests, from June 1st to September 30th free of charge. The outdoor swimming pool is free for residents and includes sun beds and a towel service.
