Accommodation & Facilities All 131 apartments are fully equipped with a kitchen with four ceramic hobs, refrigerator, microwave-grill oven, dishwasher, coffee-maker, a bathroom, separate toilet, telephone, television (European channels), vacuum cleaner, Wi-Fi access (at a charge) and a balcony. A childrens area means parents can go skiing with complete peace of mind Flaine is famous for its ski area, quality of snow cover, and variety of slopes (from beginner to expert). Its special characteristics: the altitude-range and length of the pistes (2 500 m to 1 600 m) and its sheer expanse (120 km of pistes). A village of style and character, Les Carroz is equipped with 60 snow cannon for enhanced access to the slopes. Les Carroz has a new eight-seater cable car and parking for 500 cars.On the upper part of the ski area, Samoëns is characterised by its black slopes for experienced skiers, and lower down, an entirely redesigned area for beginners. Samoens village has direct access to the slopes, thanks to the eight person Grand Massif Express cable car, built in 2003.
