La Diva Hotel is a luxurious four star chalet-style ski hotel situated in the Isola 2000 ski area. This cosy ski resort is 90 km from Nice and the Italian border. This wonderful ski resort is at an altitude of 2000m and ensures both real Mediterranean sun as well as exceptional snow cover.

The hotel is built in traditional mountain chalet style, dominates the valley below it and the Mercantour national park. All the 28 rooms are elegantly and comfortably furnished. The deluxe chalet hotel has south-facing balconies that offer a view of the slopes and the valley. The perfectly laid out chalets comprise a spacious lounge with fireplace, sofa-bed and satellite television , video, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hobs, oven, fridge-freezer, extractor fan, washer-drier, bathrooms and shower rooms, balconies or terraces, garage and parking spaces. There is also an internet access and wifi in all rooms and at the reception. Room service is available in the hotel for breakfast and from 3pm to midnight. The Diva bar with its cosy fireplace is open from 3pm each day as well as the Figaro lounge with its giant screen - an ideal place to unwind after a hard day skiing. The restaurant offers excellent food, with a buffet-style breakfast and a 5 course dinner. The hotel has direct access to the slopes from the hotel thanks to the Diva slope and in less than five minutes you can be on a chairlift. The guests should note that there is a tax per adult per night paid locally.

Isola 2000 is ideally located in one of the best locations in the Southern Alps, where you can enjoy the best of both the Alpine snow and the Mediterannean sun! Just an hour and a half away from the sea and in the heart of the National Mercantour Park - you can have a go at the plenty of winter sports on offer or hike in amazing surroundings!
Ski Facts
Isola 2000 is the first ski area in the Southern Alps to cover more than 2,000 hectares. The area is nestled in a circle formed by 15 summits, which tower between 2,450 and 2,974m.

The skiing domain at Isola comprises 47 slopes in total, a generous choice of chair lifts and ski tows, as well as a cable car and a funicular railway, ensure that skiers are kept on the move. Cross-country skiing through the larches at an altitude of 2,000m is very popular. Other activities include: riding snow scooters, go-karting on ice, heli-skiing and the latest trend ? ski-joring (a combination of horseback riding and skiing!).

With 120kms of pistes, abundant doorstep beginners? slopes, 16 red runs and 5 black runs, skiers of all abilities are well catered for. In fact, the resort has some of the best and longest beginners? runs around, all at resort level, with perfect wide-open slopes. After having gained rapid confidence, you then have a mouth-watering choice of intermediate and advanced slopes on both sides of the valley, with some great wooded, off-piste runs for intermediates and advanced skiers especially after fresh snow (Check avalanche warnings before venturing off-piste).

Note that Isola 2000 is not linked to other Mercantour resorts, but is within driving distance of Auron, Valberg and SuperSauze.
