The history of White Sands Negril began in 1971 when Henry Moo-Young and his wife decided to build four spacious apartments on the most beautiful beach in Jamaica, and call it White Sands. Over thirty years have passed and the only measurable change is that the four rooms grew to forty rooms. He still lives on property, greets guests each day and tends to the lush gardens that surround the resort. Having grown up in a family of eleven brothers and sisters, Mr. Moo-Young is a firm believer in the strength of the family. As such, he and his family are responsible for the total management and care of the resort. Guests are treated like family and some have been visiting for over 20 years.
