Located on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic in Las Terrenas, Viva Wyndham Samana Resort is approximately 10 minutes from the town and three hours from Puerto Plata International Airport.

The hotel also offers room service, laundry services, bell service, currency exchange, and tour arrangements (or arrangements for horseback riding on the beach, swimming with dolphins, windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and more). The all inclusive rates also covers all meals, unlimited drinks, 24 hour snacks, fruit and drink service on the beach and pool, welcome cocktail, unlimited non motorized water sports, taxes and tips, daily activities program, international entertainment staff, live nightly entertainment, theme parties, dance classes, medical services (extra fee), baby sitting (extra fee), boutiques, gift shops, car rental, free parking.

All rooms feature bathrobes, bathroom amenities, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, coffeemakers, cable TV, ceiling fans, and individual climate control. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. 2009 Spring Break Policy: All spring break reservations during March and April will be asked for a deposit. Guests may be required to deposit $100 per person/per stay upon check in. This deposit will be refunded in full on the basis that no damages have been made to the resort.
