This recently upgraded residential complex is laid out on a vast area of thick, lush Mediterranean vegetation facing the sea. Located on the charming south?west coast of Sicily, it is found just 9 km from Sciacca. While retaining the dynamic and the same time plain character of a village resort, Torre Macauda offers a good standard of accommodation and service.
Accommodation
The complex consists of rooms, cottages and apartments. The rooms are equipped with telephone, air conditioning, fridge, TV SAT and balcony. The cottages have air conditioning, telephone, TV and fridge. The apartments may have air conditioning upon request and on payment.
Food & Beverage
During high season (Jun-Sept), breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in buffet style, while from Oct-May, breakfast is served as buffet and lunch & dinner at the table. House wine and mineral water are included. Once a week theme evenings are organised as well. The complex boasts three bars and a pizzeria (Jun-Sept, upon reservation and at an extra charge).
Sports & Leisure
Torre Macauda features (valid for 25/05-28/09) ten tennis courts, five bowling greens, a 5-a-side football, two multifunctional areas, two swimming pools, children pool with adjoining playgrounds, a pool with slides, a children?s playground, kids club and an indoor/outdoor disco, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, group tennis, as well as dancing & aerobics courses held daily by a professional team. At guests? disposal at an extra charge there is a horse riding centre (July-Aug), excursions, night use of tennis courts, windsurfing, canoeing & archery lessons, sports competitions, pedaloes & canoes rental. Small guests have their own supervised entertainment programme (baby, mini & junior club), as well as restaurant. Beaches equipped with sun umbrellas and deck chairs surround the complex. There is a sandy beach for daily entertainment and a pebble beach for water sports.

There is a wide range of facilities & services offered at the hotel such as a market (May-Sept, boutique (Jun-Sept), photographer, hairdresser, (Jun-Sept) meeting rooms, reading room, indoors unsupervised car park, in-house doctor (at given times Jun-Aug, on call during the other months) and amphitheatre. The congress centre features the Robinia room with 250 seats in theatre style and two rooms with 15 and 60 seats are also available. Free shuttle service to the beach & amphitheatre (at given times Jun-Sept) is also available. Shuttle service to Sciacca at given times, on payment. Please note that services in the complex can be paid through the pre-paid electric cards available for a money deposit.

The complex is 96 km from the Trapani Airport, 150 km from the Palermo airport (PMO), 130 km from the ferry of Palermo and 250 km from Catania airport (CTA). The beaches lie between 250 & 800 m from the complex and can be reached via steps or by using a courtesy shuttle bus (Jun-Sept).
