Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort is an exotic luxury destination located on the Tikehau atoll, narrow strips of land surrounding a 16 mile interior lagoon. This island is part of the Tuamotu Islands Archipelago, with a crown of small islets and an interior lagoon 16 miles across. Located on a secluded pink sand beach, the resort offers direct access to the beautiful lagoon, a dive center, and a swimming pool. Additionally, guests may enjoy the following activities offered onsite, or in the area; snorkelling, canoeing, kayaking, sunset cruise and picnics. The resort's Poreho Restaurant will keep guests' palates entertained. There are 24 over-water bungalows and suites, 13 beach bungalows (six with air conditioning). Over-water bungalows have glass floor panels for viewing the lagoon's abundant tropical sea life. Each bungalow features a private terrace, ceiling fan, coffee/tea making facilities, safe, television, minibar, and telephone. There is a daily tax of 150XPF (est. $1.50 USD) per person, per night due direct to the hotel. Daily Breakfast and Dinner for two with stays through April 31, 2007.
