The location of the hotel is excellent. Altogether the hotel has an atmosphere of the 1960's, a combination of modern facilities and slightly old fashioned comfort.
This is a traditional building, which is well maintained.
The rooms are small and are in good condition along with the bathrooms. Rooms are decorated in pastel colours. They are a bit old fashioned but have modern equipment.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor and serves international food. Like the rest of the hotel it is decorated in pastel colours.
The lobby area is medium in size, very modern with marble and bright lights. A bar adjoins the lobby.
The hotel is located in the old part of Bergen (Bryggen). It is within walking distance of the harbour, shops and the fish market. The area can get noisy at night, especially at weekends as there is a nightclub next door which is open til late.
