Why take a luggage laden 10 minute walk, when a luxurious, 12 minute door-to-terminal transfer is available? Guests' £35 fee for unlimited parking includes luxury transfers to and from Stansted Airport, subject to providing flight number, time and date when making your reservation. Vehicles are parked onsite, at owner's risk, although every reasonable safeguard is assured.Thaxted Hall, whilst at the fringe of an historical and ancient tourist magnet market town, is just a short drive from the airport yet distant enough to remain undisturbed by departing aircraft. The attractive grounds are surrounded by open countryside and a non-smoking policy operates throughout the building, including all letting bedrooms. Breakfast is available midweek 07.00 - 09.30 and weekends 08.00 - 09.30. A light Continental self-service or full English breakfast can be pre-ordered. Lunch is served from midday to 14.30. Dinner is served from 18.30 - 21.30, (last orders 20.45) at the in-house Larkswood Restaurant which offers a 10% reduction to guests who pre-reserve a table. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings, but alternative eating options are available locally.
