This hotel is highly recommended - the location is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff is extremely helpful and professional. 1007SO.
The building is a historic, typical "Hansetown" house with a tradition of 200 years as a hotel. On top of the front side there is a golden sculpture which symbolizes the sun.
The rooms are medium in size and decorated to a high standard with typical north German decoration which is common along the sea. The furniture and the beds are of high quality and the standard of the bathrooms and the bathroom equipment is very high.
The Restaurant Reuters on the ground floor offers traditional regional cuisine. Additional the cafe/bar "Alte Apotheke" has a huge selection of wines from all over the world. Also on the ground floor there is the "Havanna Bar" with caribean flair.
The lobby is medium in size, but very warm and stylish decorated with a spacious welcome-seating area, wooden floors and carpets. The colours are bright and warm.
The hotel is located right in the centre opposite the gothic-baroque town-hall.
