The Star City Hotel is a first-class deluxe property situated within a large entertainment complex overlooking Darling Harbour, approximately four miles from Kingsford Smith International Airport. Local attractions include Sydney Aquarium, Cockle Bay, Circular Quay, and Bondi Beach.
Hotel amenities include multilingual staff, 24-hour valet, airport limousine and shuttle services, currency exchange, 24-hour business center, doctor-on-call, laundry services, and express check-out. Complimentary use of the Turbines Health Club is available to all guests and features a 25 meter indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, two spas, and gym. Guests may also access the property's 24-hour casino or be entertained at the Lyric Theatre and the Showroom, where world class performances take place. For drinks and dining, guests may choose from seven bars (some of which feature live entertainment) and eight restaurants.
Guest accommodations are available in hotel rooms or in self-contained and self-serviced apartments. Rooms feature individual climate controls, marble bathrooms, AM/FM alarm clock radios, cable TVs, in-room movies, international direct-dial telephones, voicemail, dataports, high-speed Internet access, mini-bars, refrigerators, in-room safes, coffeemakers, and hairdryers. Apartments feature the added enjoyment of DVD/CD players, separate dining areas and lounges, in-room laundry facilities, fully contained kitchens, and balconies or terraces Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. As part of our ongoing regulatory requirements, Star City Hotel and Casino will close to all public access from 8am Tuesday 3rd June 2008. The complex is scheduled to re-open and return to normal operations at 3.00pm the same day.Guests staying over this period will be requested to vacate their rooms by 8.00am. A letter will be provided to all in-house guests advising of this.For guests arriving on Tuesday 3rd June, prior to 3pm, luggage may be left at the temporary reception desk located at the entrance of the Porte Cochere - Jones Bay Road.
