The Soviva Resort is well known for offering a warm welcome in typical Tunisian style, suitable for couples and families looking for well-kept accommodation, good food and facilities. Formally two separate hotels, one three star and one four. The two hotels have now combined to become one resort complex, which has been given a combined Medhotels rating of 3+. Guests can therefore be accommodated in any of the rooms on complex. The Resort is situated near to Port El Kantaoui and its marina area (2km) and boasts great facilities including water slides, and private beach area.
Accommodation
Within the Resort, one building is made up of five floors with two lifts in the reception hall; it has 153 bedrooms and a presidential suite, all spacious and comfortable, looking over the front of the hotel or pool area. The second section of the resort is made up of a main building and five pavilion blocks totalling 351 rooms, 14 apartments, and three suites, all spacious and looking over the garden and the pool. Many of the Soviva Resort rooms have been recently refurbished and include air conditioning (in high season) TV (one English channel), telephone, balcony and bathroom. Mini fridges are available on request and payable locally. Please Note that family rooms consist of twin beds and bunk beds.
Food & Beverage
The Resort provides an All Inclusive basis and Half Board option for guests, the main restaurant serves international dishes and menus are rotated fortnightly with buffet style, there is a snack bar available at each pool area. There are various bars throughout the complex and guests can find menus for cocktails and varied drinks.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-09:00), lunch (12:00-14:00) and dinner (19:00-21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals draught beer, red & white wine and soft drinks by the glass are offered. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like draught beer, wine, soft drinks, water, Boukha, Cedratine, tea and filter coffee are served from 10:00-22:00 at the main AI bar.
Sports & Leisure
The Resort boasts of two outside swimming pools with water-slides (high season), indoor heated swimming pool (closed during July and August), sauna, hammam, massage room, health centre (open every day from 10.00 - 19.00), games room, four tennis courts, football pitch, basket ball ground, French bowls runway and mini golf course. At the beach, guests can also try wind surfing, pedaloes, jet-ski and paragliding (all payable). Especially for children there is mini club, children?s play ground and Disney films (subject to numbers). A special entertainment programme includes varied evenings with shows, cabarets, sketches, Tunisian folklore evenings, African shows, karaoke and dancing evenings. Before the main entertainment starts, a special programme with music and dance is offered to all guest?s children. During the day and the afternoon a children programme is offered by the entertainment team with various games (darts, table tennis, crazy golf, songs and dance contests, drawing, etc.). These activities take place around the pool or at the beach. At guest?s disposal is the Soviva discotheque equipped with sound system and light effects (children are not permitted). Please note that from mid October the pool bar and some outdoor facilities such as the beach club will be closed.
