A good choice for those wanting to be in the centre of Brno. HO 0708.
An old building, built in 1873 and added to in 1902, the hotel is grand in appearance. A new wing was added in 1987, but it still retains a traditional, imposing style. There is parking to the front and also a roadside bar area.
Bedrooms are medium or large in size and well decorated in tasteful white and red colours. The appearance is grand and rich, especially when the rooms are filled with natural light from the large windows. Bathrooms are also well appointed and white in colour.
The main restaurant is medium-sized and offers a good selection of international dishes. There is also a bar area and smaller restaurant too.
The reception area is large, although there are not many seats available. The reception desk is located along the rear wall and is a good length.
Located in the centre of the city, the hotel is ideally situated for tourists and is just off a main road in a quieter location. There is a great view of the Spielberg castle and the downtown area.
