Accommodation and Facilities The well appointed Hotel Schwarzer Adler features a total of 88 rooms and suites, all furnished in elegant Tyrolean country-style. The spacious twin rooms can accommodate up to three persons and feature bath or shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone, radio, cable television and safe. The superior rooms are also equipped with a mini-bar. All rooms are non-smoking. The stylish public areas of the Schwarzer Adler include reception, spacious lobby lounge with free internet wireless access, elegant lounge with fireplace, various traditional dining Stuberl and the award winning gourmet a la carte restaurant, Neuwirt (awarded 1 Michelin Star). The impressive 1000 m? Black Spa, a place of peace and relaxation, features a wide range of facilities including Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, steam-bath, laconium and rasul. Location The Schwarzer Adler is centrally located, a short stroll of 150 metres from the pedestrian centre of Kitzbuhel. The Hahnenkamm lift is only 550 metres away and the free city Ring Bus stops outside the hotel. This service connects with the free ski bus service which operates throughout the entire ski region. Ski Facts The Kitzbuhel region encompasses skiing in the resorts of Kitzbuhel, Kirchberg, Reith, Aurach, Jochberg, Mittersill and Hollersbach and the lift pass covers lifts in all resorts. With the opening of the 3S cable car system connecting the skiing areas of Hahnenkamm / Pengelstein and Jochberg / Resthohe, Kitzbuhel?s famous Ski Safari has taken on an entirely new dimension, enabling one to ski the entire area from Aschau-Kirchberg to Pass Thurn in both directions. The Ki-West gondola connects Westendorf, in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental region, to Kirchberg. A new eight - seater gondola, the Skiwelt-Kitzbuheler Alpen lift, planned to be completed for Winter 2008-09, will complete the final connection in the Skiwelt between Brixen and Westendorf. The combined regions of the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental and Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg will then be fully connected! It will be one of the three largest interconnecting ski resorts in the world and covered by one lift pass, the Kitzbuheler Alpen pass (upgrade on Kitzbuhel-Kirchberg lift pass).
