Accommodation and Facilities. This family run Gasthof with authentic Tyrolean flair features 29 bedrooms, all fitted with shower, toilet, cable television and radio. Safe facilities are available at the reception and some rooms also feature balcony. The half board arrangement includes a breakfast buffet and three course evening meal with choice of main course and occasional salad buffet. Once weekly, the hotel arranges a special Tyrolean speciality dinner, as well as a Candlelit Dinner. A special Festive Buffet, with live music and a firework display is organised on New Year?s Eve (from 7:30pm-11:00 pm). Location The Schroll is situated in the centre of Kirchbichl, offering easy access to village amenities. Ski Facts Kirchbichl is located just 10 kilometres from Austria?s largest interconnecting ski region, the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, and a free ski bus service operates to the nearest main feeder lift. This area encompasses the resorts of Soll, Itter, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Brixen, Hopfgarten, Kelchsau and Westendorf. It offers a wide range of runs for all standards and is ideal for beginners and experienced skiers alike. In a recent survey on the Top Resort internet platform, the Skiwelt was placed 4th best in a list of 4000 skiing regions worldwide! A new eight seater gondola, the Skiwelt-Kitzbuheler Alpen lift, planned to be completed for Winter 2008-09, will complete the final connection in the Skiwelt between the resorts of Brixen and Westendorf.
