The Samuel Sewall Inn is a Victorian-style bed and breakfast situated approximately two miles from downtown Boston (10 minutes by trolley) and seven miles from Logan International Airport. The inn is within walking distance of a shopping area.
This is a typical Victorian home, so no two rooms are exactly alike. With high ceilings and large windows, this spacious house is ideal as a bed and breakfast. The 117-year-old house has been restored to its original splendor using period antiques, fine wallpaper, and draperies. The owner, an award-winning historical preservationist, has established a wonderful collection of antiques, showcased in each room. Hotel amenities include complimentary expanded breakfast buffet and complimentary baked cookies, cakes, and other snacks. Parking is free and a patio is attached to the inn for enjoying warmer weather.
Guest rooms feature cable TV, CD/DVD players or VCRs, dataports, free local calls, wireless high-speed Internet access, irons, ironing boards, and private bathrooms with hairdryers and toiletries. Some rooms have fireplaces. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
