The Sami Hotel is a family run hotel located in the lively resort of Gumbet, directly on the beach and only 5km away from the busy centre of Bodrum. The hotel itself is surrounded by its own gardens. There are a choice of bars and restaurants on the beach, a long with a wide variety of water sports. The Hotel complex is made up of several Turkish style buildings, which are on different levels and adorned with trailing plants. The hotel staff is also both helpful and friendly.
Accommodation
Rooms are comfortable furnished in typical Turkish style. All rooms are equipped with telephone, hairdryer, private bathroom with bath, terrace or balcony and air-conditioning, which is available for 2 GBP per day per room.
Food & Beverage
The main restaurant is located on the beachfront and gives you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sea view while you are having your lunch or dinner. Breakfast (08.00-10.00 and dinner (20.00-22.00) consists of an open buffet. An A La Carte menu is available for an extra charge. During the day snacks are available from the beach bar. Open air lounge bar area (next to the sea) with two lounge areas, one with a television.
Sports & Leisure
The Hotel has an attractive swimming pool with sun terrace and lounges (free of charge), sun lounges and mattresses on the beach (with charge). On the beachfront hotels staff can arrange boat trips and water sports (seasonal), including parasailing, Jet Ski, fast trip, banana and rings. The Hotel also has a Diving Centre attached, Turkish bath, sauna, TV- room, table tennis area and snooker. Evening entertainment includes quiz nights, bingo nights, karaoke nights, Turkish nights, cabaret nights, beach parties and disco.

Medical & Dialysis centre 24 h, conference room. The reception is open 24 hours and most of the staff has a good knowledge of English. Reception has money exchange and you can leave your postcards at reception to be posted. Safety deposit boxes are available for one pound sterling per day.
Useful Information
International check-in /check-out law means that rooms are booked from midday to midday, not from guest?s arrival time at the hotel. Keeping your room on at the end of your stay maybe be possible, depending on availability, but would incur a local charge paid to the hotel. This hotel can be reached from the following airport: Bodrum (BJV) 43 km.
Entry Requirements
You may obtain a multiple entry visitors visa valid for 90 days at the port of entry on payment of ten pounds sterling, cash (Scottish currency is not accepted).
