The Rocha Brava Apartments are located just 3km east of Carvoeiro, a charming fishing village right in the heart of the Algarve. The resort itself is situated on the cliff top and surrounded by 11 hectares of beautiful landscaped gardens. The protection of the environment is of utmost concern and besides the countless variety of trees and flowers, artificial lakes have been created and many of the existing species of flora, such as almond trees and fig trees have been maintained. It is an ideal setting for lovers of nature and tranquillity.
Accommodation
The one and two storey buildings have typical Algarvean characteristics, are very well maintained and integrate perfectly into the surrounding landscape. The one-bedroom apartments consist of a bedroom, lounge, kitchen (fully equipped including washing machine, iron and ironing board), bathroom and balcony/terrace and have a maximum capacity of 3 (convertible bed in lounge area for the 3rd person). The two-bedroom apartments are identical to the one-bedroom but with an additional bedroom and are suitable for 4 people. Please note: All one-bedroom apartments are located on the 1st floor and are therefore not suitable for guests with a wheelchair. The two-bedrooms apartments can be located either on the ground floor or on the 1st floor.
Food & Beverage
There is an a la carte restaurant within the resort with live music 3 times per week, a snack bar/coffee shop serving breakfast and light meals which is open throughout the day and a bar which is open until late. For self catering guests there is a well stocked supermarket at the entrance to the hotel which also offers national and International newspapers and magazines.
Sports & Leisure
There are plenty of activities on offer at the resort. Choose from 3 outdoor swimming pools (1 heated during the winter), with adjacent pool for children, tennis club with 4 courts and a resident coach available for individual or group lessons or the games room with table tennis and snooker. Keep the children occupied in the kids club which, for your convenience is complimentary, and offers entertainment for children aged 4-12yrs during the summer months of May - September. To get into a relaxed holiday mood try the excellent beauty shop where fully qualified therapists can provide treatments from body massage to aromatherapy and reflexology.

The hotel offers a 24 hour reception, babysitting service, safe rental, free transport 3 times a day to the beach and to the village of Carvoeiro, bicycle and car hire and various excursions upon request. In the surrounding area guests of the hotel can find an equestrian centre (2km from Rocha Brava) and 2 golf courses (Gramacho & Vale de Pinta-both 18 holes) 4km away that offer special discounts to the hotels guests. Boat and pedal boat rental are available at both Centeanes and Carvoeiro beaches.
