The Guest House is over looking the beautiful parish church of St Mary the Virgin. Less than 40 minutes away by car or train are the historic towns of Wareham, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth, who will be hosts to the 2012 Olympic sailing, events. The guest house has a Comprehensive fire alarm and emergency lighting throughout and the pressurised water supplied to all rooms is rising main and suitable for drinking. The whole house is centrally heated and has thermostatically controlled radiators in each bedroom: Rivendell is a non-smoking guest house.
