A large, grand, old style building, the hotel is easily identifiable. Painted light orange and white, the hotel is very well maintained.
Bedrooms are large in size and recently refurbished to a high standard. Furnishings and colour schemes give a very regal, grand feel to the rooms and they are very comfortable. Furniture is usually dark coloured wood, ceilings are high and all the amenities expected of this class of hotel are provided.
The restaurant is located to the right of the reception area and is medium in size. Allowing in plenty of natural light, the atmosphere is pleasant. There is also a summer terrace and cafe.
The reception is medium in size. The main desk is opposite the front door on entry and there are seats available to the left side.
Situated on the bank of the Tepla River in a quiet part of Karlovy Vary, the hotel is a stones throw from the centre and is surrounded by an English style park. There is also a Japanese style meditation garden nearby and the surroundings are very pleasant and relaxing.
