A good location for both the holiday town of Oban and for taking a ferry to the western isles. (GW 09/2008).
The hotel consists of a traditional building in the baronial style attached to the main body of the building which dates from the 1930s and is in an Art Deco style.
There are 83 rooms in the hotel offering comfortable accommodation for leisure. Rooms are simply designed in neutral colours and offering amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities, TV and direct dial telephone.
There are three bars within the hotel in which to sample a dram of warming single malt or enjoy a meal prepared by the skilled in-house chefs. There is also a terrace area overlooking the sea where guests can relax. The restaurant provides a relaxed setting to enjoy traditional Scottish cuisine.
The lobby is medium sized and traditional in character with some touches from the 1930s.
The Regent is located on the esplanade of Oban, opposite the pier. Just a few minutes walk from the town centre, the dramatic views across the sea to the distant islands will captivate guests upon arrival.
