Official Rating - 4* - Bed & Breakfast / Half Board / All Inclusive The Ramla Bay Resort, 25km from national airport of Malta, is situated on the northernmost shore of Malta, looking across the azure waters of the channel to Comino and Gozo. Blessed with ample land, landscaped gardens, a sandy beach (open from May to October) and rocky foreshore, excellent dining and professional staff, this four-star hotel is designed to harmonize with the unspoilt Maltese countryside in which it lies. It is also within easy reach of the loveliest beaches of Malta, and the typical village of Mellieha, with its shopping centre, bars and restaurants, is only five minutes drive away. Accommodation Accomodation at the Ramla Bay resort consists of 146 comfort rooms, 32 panoramic ones, 11 deluxe rooms. Either with sea or land view each room has private bathroom, hair dryer, air-conditioning (seasonal), telephone, TV, radio, mini bar and terrace balcony. There is also fridge, safe (at a charge) and tea/coffe making facilities are available in the Panoramic rooms only free of charge. All Inclusive Food & Drinks The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:00) and dinner (W:18:00-21:00, S:18:30-21:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant; lunch is also available as served plates. Snacks such as sandwiches are available between 11:00 & 17:00. Tea & coffee time with cake is from 14:30-17:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like cocktails are served from 11:00-23:00. In-room mini bars are filled with soft drinks, juices and water on the arrival day only. Sports & Leisure The unique location of the Ramla Bay means swimming at the groomed sandy beach (available May to October), joining water sports centre, diving or snorkeling in some of Malta?s best locations, or lazing by the pools. There are two outdoor pools to choose from, one of which has a small island in the centre, linked to the side by bridges, the ultimate indulgence. Swim up to the Sea Breeze Pool Bar or taste an an ice-cream. The indoor pool, part of the Spa du Soleil, has teak loungers nestling in the heart of a colonnaded section, reminiscent of a Moorish palace. In addition, there is a play area and one outdoor children?s pools, an amphitheatre for the animators in summer, rocks to snorkel around, gardens to wander through and a kid?s club for 4-12yrs old (open in July & August twice a week for 4 hrs). Among others, at the disposal of guests there is arcade games room, private sandy beach (May - October), sun loungers & umbrellas, blue waves watersports centre (May - October), dawn dives PADI diving centre (closed in January), mountain bikes (at a charge), table tennis (at a charge), Spa Du Soleil, indoor heated pool (closed in July and August), whirlpool (closed in July and August), sauna fitness room and massage rooms. All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment Leisure facilities at the hotel include sauna and steam bath. There is also pedaloes and canoes from the water sports centre and a free trip to Comino offered to customers, booked at reception at arrival (all from May to October). A courtesy transport takes the guests to the village of Mellieha daily, except Sundays & public holidays. There will also be a 10% discount on Spa treatments. Facilities & Services The entrance to the Ramla Bay Resort has been completed transformed. Step into the bright new foyer where sunlight is reflected in the copious amounts of soaring glass. The reception is sleek and functional, given a twist by the Balinese stone carvings sweeping up to the ceiling. Doors lead off to a wealth of facilities, ranging from a well-stocked mini-market to a games room and souvenir shop. An alcove on the other side houses an internet café (at a charge).
