This is a very good, modern hotel close to the airport. (BL 10/2006).
It is a very large, modern building with hundreds of mirrored windows and a large entrance. There is also a large car park at the front.
The rooms are small and medium in size, in good condition, with modern colours and furnishings. All the rooms are air conditioned, and have satellite television, hairdryer, trouser press and minibar. All rooms have a modem point and an iron / ironing board.
Archipelago's restaurant is also modern, with new and colourful furnishings and a dark wood floor and pillars. It offers a wide choice of International cuisine in an informal setting. The Arts Grill is modern and infomal.
The lobby is medium in size and modern in design. It has light wood floors, pillars, stairs and a small reception desk.
The hotel is situated just four miles from Gatwick airport, and only two miles from Three Bridges station. Local attractions include the Sussex downs, Bluebell steam railway and Chartwell house.
