This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to enjoy the beauties of Venice away from the crowd and the noise of the tourist city. The hotel, and historic residence, is a complex of 3 villas, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The style is quite original for Venice since it is reminiscent of Northern Europe with its countryside villa, white painted walls, dark wooden balconies and shutters. The whole is immersed in a countryside atmosphere with a sweet smell of flowers and joyous singing of birds together with the relaxing flow of fountains.
Rooms vary in size from medium to large, some with balcony, some with view of the gardens. They are elegantly furnished with antiques and rugs on the floors. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition and equipped with all the modern comforts.
Restaurant and breakfast room is located on the ground floor and it is quite large with a big fifteenth century fireplace, a chessboard style floor and red clothed tables. In the warm season dining is recommended in the romantic atmosphere of the gardens at candlelight. The restaurant and its cuisine are quite well known by the locals also for the delicious local specialities.
The Lobby is small and very charming with some seats and antiques. It leads to a secluded writing room, to the gardens, and to the restaurant.
Located in a quiet green area called Quattro Fontane, 2 kilometres from the Lido pier and 50 metres from the beach. The hotel is easily accessible by all means of transports: buses every few minutes, taxi, and water taxi. San Marco square is only 10 minutes away from the pier. Shopping areas, bars, and restaurants are all within walking distance.
