The hotel is ideally located on the Qawra sea front, with panoramic views of the Salina Bay in the North of the Island. This hotel offers simple facilities together with a comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is the perfect hotel for families and couples of all ages that are in search of a central location, with a good range of facilities close by. There are many shops, bards and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and it is but a short walk to Bugibba and St. Paul?s bay for an even wider choice. The hotel is privately owned by the Vela family and construction started on site in 1985. Originally the hotel was four storeys high. Five years later another four storeys were added on to the original due to the heavy demand.
Accommodation
There are 392 rooms on 8 floors serviced by lifts. All are equipped with central heating / air conditioning throughout.
Food & Beverage
In the hotel guests can find a spacious restaurant with sea views serving buffet meals, a pool bar serving snacks and drinks, a coffee shop and a lounge bar. In the summer season an open air pizzeria and snack bar are open.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:30), lunch (12:30-14:00) and dinner (17:45-20:45), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Snacks are available between 11:00 & 21:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like spirits, beer, house wine, tea, coffee, soft drinks and water are served from 11:00-23:00 at the pool bar (W: 09:30-14:00 weather permitted, S: 09:30-24:00), the lounge bar (W: 12:00-24:00 or 09:30-24:00, S: 12:30-14:00 & 17:45-20:45), the ballroom, the night club and the pool terrace (during summer).
Sports & Leisure
There are three seafront pools (one for adult, one for children and one for toddlers), one heated indoor pool (open from Oct ? to May only), spacious sun terrace with loungers and parasols. Additionally guest can find a night club, nightly entertainment program, card room, and at an additional charge the hotel provides tennis court, mini golf, water sports centre at lido, pool table and video games.
