The 300 year old country house has been recently renovated and modernized with special emphasis given to the preservation of its traditional features. It is mostly stone built with wooden arches supporting the stone tiled roof, in a time-old design that utilizes locally sourced materials to blend man-made structures with the surrounding environment. The result is a property of astonishing quality, a real gem of traditional architecture in true Epirotic style and a live example of the area's heritage.

The luxurious rooms, suites and chalets are decorated in an elegant style, with a mixture of modern and traditional materials and furnishings. Each one is named and themed after relatives and associates of the ancient king Pyrrhos of Epirus, the hotel itself is named after his second wife. All rooms have private bathroom, air conditioning, internet access, TV and all modern amenities.

The hotel's restaurant is offers a varied menu with the focus being on local recipes, prepared and presented in the traditional way using locally sourced products and ingredients. A snack bar and barbecue are also available to guests.

The lobby is small sized but adequate and blends into the rest of the house neatly. The staff will be happy to organize a wide range of activities for the guests, such as trekking, rafting, mountain biking and even horse and ostrich riding !! The hotel also boasts a swimming pool, small spa and gym, conference facilities, a tennis court and five-a-side soccer facilities.

The hotel is located in Kostitsi, a village perched 900m high onto the imposing Tzoumerka mountain range. It offers breathtaking views of the Arachthos River gorge and the mountains. Picturesque Ioannina, it's famous lake and historical sights are only a 25 minute drive away. Also within driving distance, the Oracle and Ancient Theater of Dodoni, river Acheron (the gate to the Underworld in classical Greece), the Vrellis Wax Figures Museum and plenty of other sites of historical,cultural and natural interest.
