The Pousada has meeting room facilities and monumental and scenic surroundings. The Pousada of Santa Marinha da Costa is described as being the jewel in the already glittering crown of Portuguese Pousadas. It is the biggest and by far the most impressive of all the Pousadas. 08/08 mp.

Near the historical centre of Guimares, set on a hill overlooking the city, we find the majestic Santa Marinha Pousada, the 17th century convent of Agustinhos, which after being rebuilt and restored received the national architectural prize in 1985. There are discreet cloisters in this Pousada and a marvelous fountain.
