A good-value hotel, well located hotel offering all the facilities one would expect from a city centre three-star. The decor is dated but the hotel is currently undergoing renovation to lift the standard of the hotel into 4-star status. (02/08 KB).
A modern, red bricked building, with limited parking available.
The rooms all vary in size and design, as one would expect in an old Victorian building. Each room has all the conveniences one expects in a three-star hotel such as tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press, etc. The rooms and the bathrooms are in a fair condition but typical of Hagley Road hotels.
The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving a wide range of foods.
The lobby is rather small in size, although welcoming and friendly.
The hotel is located on Hagley Road, one of the main roads in Birmingham centre running up towards Edgbaston. Hagley Road is part of the re-developed area of Birmingham and is buzzing with new bars and restaurants.
