This hotel comes highly recommended as it is of excellent standard, staff is very friendly and it's an ideal base to explore the surrounding cities and countryside. 0608/UL.
Impressive bright facade.
Rooms are very large and are decorated in modern design. The rooms and bathrooms are in very good condition.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor and decorated in a more traditional style. There's a Beergarden too which opens as soon as the weather allows it.
The lobby is large with plenty of seating areas.
The hotel is located in beautiful surrounding with a pretty lake and park just within walking distance to the hotel. Altenburg is an ideal base to explore Saxony, especially Leipzig and Dresden ( both within 1 hr drive ).
