The Paragon Hotel was built in 1903 and is a magnificent example of Victorian Gothic architecture. Within the walls of this historic Grade II listed building many of the original aspects have been lovingly restored back to their former glories. With excellent transport links to the M42/ M6 / M40 and Birmingham International airport, The Paragon makes a fantastic base for a traveller on a budget. Additionally, the close proximity to Birmingham city centre means that it is an ideal venue for taking advantage of the fantastic shopping facilities and Birmingham¿s buzzing night life. The philosophy behind the food is simple; local, fresh, seasonal ingredients deliciously cooked and presented to please. The menus offer a wide variety of cuisine; from traditional British favourites to modern takes on Asian dishes. The Bar is where you will find the majority of the guests during the late afternoon and evening. A busy atmosphere, good food and drinks combine to create the ideal atmosphere in which to relax. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 07:00 ¿ 10:00am. During the day and evening the bar is open for food and drinks. The bar opens at midday and closes late for residents and outside guests. There are 250 contemporary style bedrooms in which to relax. They all offer the excellent facilities visitors have come to expect from an urban retreat. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, complimentary broadband access, direct dial telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and guests will also have complimentary car parking on site.
