The magnificent building where the hotel is housed is a Barroque Palace built in 1718 which has been fully renovated to be adapted to the XXIst century needs always keeping the exultant and luxurious sensuality of the Barrocan style.
The exclusive hotel provides accommodation in its 30 delightful rooms. All of them are decorated and furnished with exquisite taste combining tradition and updated facilities such as central heating, air conditioning direct phone, private car park, minibar, satellite TV, hair dryer in bathrooms, toiletries. They are medium in size and most of them have four posted beds and colourful painted walls and tiled bathrooms.
There are two different restaurants. One which is used for individual travellers within the main building and the second one where buffet breakfast is served every morning in an adjacent building which can accommodate up to 300 people, mainly used for big events. The quality of service and the cuisine is also somenthing to point out.
The lobby is a spacious area that surrounds the main entrance area where the reception is found. It is a sitting area decorated and furnished in a fascianting style compiling traditional, classical and modern features and details such as the piano and some other decorative ornaments.
This wonderful property is found in a quiet and charming village, Villacarriedo, very close to Santander city and some other picturesque places such as Santillana del Mar, Suances or Comillas.
