Superbly located on the side of a cliff, the Hotel Orca Praia overlooks a small sand and shingle beach (with EU flag) giving way to a relaxing bay which offers you beautiful views over the Atlantic ocean. The hotel is 22km (20 minutes) from the International airport, 6km from the centre of Funchal and just 15 minutes walk to the shopping area.
Accommodation
The hotel offers a total of 128 spacious rooms all with large balconies and magnificent views over the ocean (without sea view supplement). Rooms are comfortable and lightly decorated and are equipped with private bathroom and shower, direct dial telephone, cable TV, safety deposit boxes (local charge of 1.50 euros per day), hairdryer and free baby cot (on request).
Food & Beverage
The main restaurant serves a wide variety of local and international dishes (buffet dinner or A La Carte available), snacks are available at the pool bar and pre-dinner cocktails at the bar.
