The hotel is America¿s longest continuously operating hotel. Located in downtown Boston on the Freedom Trail, the hotel opened its doors in 1855 and is within walking distance of Beacon Hill, Quincy Market, the Financial District, shopping and more. The restaurant offers nostalgic cuisine with a contemporary flair. This restaurant is the birthplace of the Boston Cream Pie, the Parker House Roll and Boston Scrod. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar, a mahogany and stained-glass room, is a nice location for having a drink by the fireplace. The other bar area is modelled after the traditional Boston bar of the bygone era. Features signature Martinis and lighter fare.
The lobby is large and traditionally decorated with oak-panelled walls and large crystal chandeliers.
The hotel is centrally located on the Freedom Trail in Boston's downtown area.
