In 1666, King Charles II made New Park Manor, in the heart of this ancient forest, his favourite hunting lodge on his return from exile in France, and his royal coat of arms is displayed prominently above the fireplace in the award-winning restaurant. The Bath House Spa adjoins the hotel and all of our guests have full use of its facilities which include; an outdoor Canadian Hot Tub, 16 metre indoor swimming pool, hydrotherapy pools and techno gym fitness suite. Restaurant - The Stag Restaurant: Food at New Park Manor is modern English rustic - healthy light food based on seasonal produce as well as local specialities like game and venison. Enjoy coffee and croissants in the Stag Restaurant with sun streaming through the windows and cheeky squirrels darting about outside. In the evening, the old Master paintings, oak panelling and fine tableware create a sense of occasion. But don't worry. There's no need to wear a tie or posh frock, even if you are sitting in Charles II@¿s dining room with an original Royal Coat of Arms on the wall!
- The Bath House Spa Juice Bar: The Juice Bar serves breakfast from 07:30 and provides a menu of freshly prepared dishes throughout the day, together with a range of health and vitality inducing juices, smoothies and herbal teas. Ingredients are sourced locally and are organic wherever possible and food is freshly prepared to the highest standard. A low salt and low calorie seasonal menu has been created, however, the chefs appreciate that not everyone is diet conscious and provide a range of scrumptious treats, delicious coffees and a selection of bottled beers, wines and champagnes.
Bar - The Polo Bar: The Polo Bar is strikingly contemporary with a stone flagged floor and wood panelling; the Polo Lounge, with its deep leather armchairs, rich, warm colours and sports memorabilia, has the character and atmosphere of a convivial club.
