The hotel is actually two converted military barrack buildings connected in the middle by the lobby area.

These rooms with private bathrooms are in very good condition. They are medium sized with pale blue and pastel colourschemes. Half of them have lovely views down towards the fjord. The bathrooms are also in very good condition.

The hotel has two restaurants, one being on the first floor which opens only during the summer months whilst on the ground floor there is a canteen which actually forms quite a focal point for the community, many of whom eat there daily.

The lobby is large with limited seating. A stuffed polar bear watches the guests come and go.

This hotel is located in the middle of the tiny settlement of Narsarsuaq (pop approx 150).
