A lovely hotel in very peaceful and relaxing surrounds. jg07/2009.
The hotel is very traditional as it is set in the grouds of a country estate and part of an old Castle.
The rooms are modern and decorated in yellows and blue. They are large in size and offer all the amenities one would expect from a 4 star hotel. They are in a good condition and each room either has a balcony or terrace.
The breakfast room is located in a lovely bright, whitewashed room which was formerly a dairy. For snacks, the bar has a small menu. For group meals and formal events, meals can be reserved in the beautiful castle that is located in the hotels grounds and which is one of the most beautiful venues in Holland.
The lobby is small with limited seating.
The hotel is located approximately 35km from Amsterdam and within easy reach of such cities as Haarlem and Alkmaar, which are approximately 25 minutes drive away. The hotel is set in an extensive estate dating back to 1225.
