This is an excellent hotel, especially suited for groups and offers many recreational facilities including an indoor swimming pool, squash courts, bowling alley, pool and dartboards. There are also numerous food and beverage outlets and comes highly recommended. jg/05/2005.
The exterior of this hotel is very attractive and as the building is only on two floors, camouflages the fact that this hotel has over 500 bedrooms. It is a fairly traditional hotel with a modern entrance and a small ovular driveway.
The rooms are medium in size and in good condition and are primarily decorated in a blue and gold colour scheme, tho some of the rooms have recently been renovated to the new NH criteria and have wood floors and a brown and beige colour scheme. The majority of the bathrooms are shower only and also in good condition.
The hotel has 2 bars and a Brasserie. The "Dommelpoort" is the recreation centre, The Bar Metro is a traditonal "pub" and the Brasserie Porticato is under a glass roof and serves an Italian menu.
The lobby is very large with ample seating.
The hotel is located southwest of Eindhoven, approximately 15 mins drive from downtown Eindhoven and Eindhoven Airport. It is located in a very green area with plenty of woodland and woodland walking routes around the hotel.
