Those with a more hearty appetite can choose from organic porridge oats, locally produced sausages and bacon, home grown tomatoes and free range eggs from down the road. Add to this a good serving of friendly rural hospitality and you will be set up for the day.Local points of interest include the nearbyl village of Hanmer, with its histroric church standing by the shining mere. Whithcurch which is the oldest town in Shropshire, continually inhabited since Roman times and Ellesmere the 'lake district' of Shropshire.The region is full of interests to suit everyone - history, horticulture, museums, castles, stately homes and horseracing.
