Originally dating from the XII century, when the Cistercian order was granted the land by the King of Aragon, the ornate buildings of the monastery were converted to an exclusive hotel in 2003 by the Aragon government. Wondering through the ancient cloisters and vaulted halls will give you a true sense of history. There are guided walks explaining the use oft he different areas complimentary for guests. It is also worth wondering around the exterior where the bank of the river has been carefully adapted for visitors to know more about the nature and history of the area. The impressive waterwheel is one of the main features not to miss. The outdoor swimming-pool is also an inviting place to enjoy and relax during hot summer days.

The hotel provides accommodation in its 35 splendid rooms including four standard suites and La suite del Abad which is a special suite due to its layout, decoration and size. All of them are fully equipped and beautifully decorated and furnished.

After a relaxing day in the atmospheric surroundings you can enjoy an exquisite meal of fresh Aragonese produce in the restaurant. They usually provide a very good quality menu which you can enjoy at the restaurant room or at the charming area once the cellar decorated with the XIX century wine barrels.
