Scandic Mölndal is a newly-built hotel, constructed with great care for the environment and opened in 2000. All rooms have wooden floors and furnishings in Scandinavian wood. Among our 208 rooms, we have Business rooms and Suites, and 99 Family rooms for up to four people. Our relaxation centre on the 6th floor offer guests the use of Jacuzzi, saunas, and fitness equipment - all with views over Mölndal. Our restaurant and bar are situated in the atrium on the ground floor, where you can start the day with a large breakfast buffet. For lunch or dinner we offer you, among other choices, our popular à la carte menu; younger guests have their own menu. If you want only a cup of coffee or tea and a sandwich, visit our no-smoking coffee shop by the front desk. Our seven conference rooms are all bright and airy; the largest seats up to 180 people. Scandic Molndal is located in central Mölndal, 6 km south of Gothenburg. There are very good public transport links connecting Mölndal with Gothenburg. It takes about 15 minutes by tram 4 from Mölndal to Gothenburg, 10 minutes by commuter train and 20 minutes by local bus.

• Scandic Mölndal Restaurant: Our restaurant is located in the hotel's large atrium. We start the day with a large breakfast buffet for all hotel guests. On weekdays we offer a buffet lunch and à la carte meals. For dinner we serve everything from simple dishes to full 3-course à la carte dinner.
• The bar at Scandic Mölndal: Our bar is located next to the restaurant in our atrium and is the ideal spot to take a drink before dinner, or enjoy a relaxing beer after a hard day's work. We serve delicious sandwiches and snacks in the bar.
