This is a very good hotel in a convenient location. The hotel has a small rooftop pool with good view of the city skyline and partial views of Copacabana Beach. (0408 RC).
The building is a modern construction.
All the rooms are large and are in good to very good condition. Décor varies throughout, with a mixture of modern and traditional furnishings. Light and dark colours are used. This property is well-known for being very tidy, and rooms have cable TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone line and broadband Internet access for laptops.
The restaurant is situated on the mezzanine floor and serves international cuisine. It is modern and bright, with tiled flooring. There are occasions that the restaurant is split in two parts to form an a la carte restaurant and a separate buffet restaurant.
The lobby is medium in size, décor is modern with dark green marble throughout. Antique lampshades and sculptures blend with the dark wood furnishings in the lounge area to the left of the entrance. To the right is a wall-length mirror in an area also decorated with antique furnishings.
This hotel is situated one block away from Copacabana Beach on a busy avenue full of banks and offices. It is close to the shopping district and has bus stops almost at its doorstep. It is about 5 minutes¿ walk from Rio-Sul Shopping Mall, 10 minutes¿ walk from the beach and just a 10-minute bus/taxi ride from trendy Ipanema Beach. It's a 15-minute taxi ride from Santos¿ Dumont Airport and 45 minutes from Rio¿s Tom Jobim International Airport.
